Text: II Kings 6:17-18; (NLT) Judges 6:14-16(NKJV)
Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire. As the Aramean army advanced toward him, Elisha prayed, “O Lord, please make them blind.” So the Lord struck them with blindness as Elisha had asked.”
Judges 6: 14. Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?”
Judges 6: 15. So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan <em>is</em> the weakest in Manasseh, and I <em>am</em> the least in my father’s house.”
Judges 6: 16. And the Lord said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man.”
You are warmly welcome to the second month of the year 2023, the new year is already in its second month, our God is awesome, the author of time and season that dwells in eternity.
In this new month I am trusting God for somebody reading this piece to receive double dose of the fire of God as revival prophetically goes to the next level this year.
When a man in the Bible got a double portion there were a few things he manifested which are my desire for somebody reading this piece, a few of these will suffice for our meditation today.
A. Elisha who got the double portion became a force and a voice in his generation.
He was the counseling and guiding force for his king, that delivered the King and his city from the plans of the Kings of Syria many times. The king called him ‘ my father’.
You too will become a voice, you will command attention in the name of Jesus.
B. He became a one man army, in the Bible passage above the King of Syria sent a whole battalion of soldiers to arrest Elisha, but the man with the Anointing of a one man army could not be arrested, rather He successfully arrested the arrester. With the word of his mouth he placed the soldiers of the enemy under a spiritual blindness that compelled the invaders to enquire about Elisha from Elisha himself.WOW!!!.
C. The chariots of fire and their horses that constitute a battalion of the hosts of heaven were at his beck and call. He was an authentic commander. This new month you will mount up and occupy your position as a divine partner with God, an original commander in Jesus’ name.
D. Whoever says a single person cannot make a difference has missed the point. God made you different in order for you to make a difference. Therefore don’t be ashamed of your difference, ackniwledge it, package it, and utilise it to help or lift up the people around you.
E. The relevance of Gideon in our second scriptural focus is unmistakable. He was reluctant to unleash his potentials until God sent an angel to give him a push. This piece of Goodtreasure is heaven ordained to give somebody who is already carrying the Anointing Of A One Man Army a much needed push into the arena of manifestation. You are too loaded to be hidden. The light is usually put on a lamp stand so that it could illuminate its surroundings.
You are the light they have been waiting for.
The army of the aliens will flee before you.
F. This was the case with David, another character with the Anointing Of A One Man Army. His father sent him on an errand and when he saw the situation at the war front, the Anointing rose to the occasion the army of Philistine had to run when they saw the manifestation of the one man army that led to the death of their commander.
I believe you are the next on the line to be announced and be used greatly of God.
But without the one who died for you on the cross you can do nothing on your own.
That’s why you must renounce your sins and invite Jesus intpnyour life as Lord and Saviour NOW if you have not done so.

PRAYER FOCUS:
A. II Kings 2:9-11- Father of wonders let the showers of your fire rest upon me in ever increasing proportion this new month in Jesus’ name.
B. I Samuel.10:11- Father, make me a revelation that will birth consternation and celebration to my generation by your mighty hand upon my life in Jesus’ name.
