TEXT: ACTS 6:1-7

And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

² Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

³ Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

⁴ But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

⁵ And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

⁶ Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

⁷ And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

On the powerful of authority of Genesis 30:43 which says “ And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.”

We passionately pray for you this very first day of the second half of the year. God will increase you exceedingly this month and this second half of the year. Exceeding increase in anointing will be your portion.

Every area of your financial and material life will attract exceeding increase. This second half will be far better for you than the first in Jesus name. Amen and Amen.

Today’s topic is the  first part of ‘ And the word increased’ it must be noted that right from the beginning God programmed increase into everything He created that’s why in Genesis 1:28, when God blessed the epitome and crown of His creation it was fruitfulness that came first which is another way of describing increase.

But from our scriptural reference above, we found that the increase in the word among the disciples came as a result of intervention of divine wisdom. Every challenge of your life will bow to wisdom of God in Jesus name.

The appropriate impartation of divine wisdom for outstanding performance, receive right now in Jesus name. what does the topic ‘and the word increased mean. It may connote for instance that the confession of the word among the disciples increased tremendously. Joshua 1:8 says and I quote ‘^this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.’

When the word is confessed very frequently:

And the word increased could mean the word of God later and sequel to the resolution of the conflict become the standard and final testament for resolving issues.

Therefore beloved reader let the word of God increase in your mouth by way of frequently confessing it and your world will never be the same again. The success loaded in the word in line with God’s instruction to Joshua will announce you to your world this new month in Jesus name.
