Topic: You Need to Pass The Test Of Fire
Text: I Corinthians 3:11-15, Malachi 3:3.
” For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. [12] Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, [13] each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. [14] If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. [15] If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.”
Greetings of divine glorification to you beloved reader and friend wherever you are joining us for this fresh edition of your revival nuggets.
We believe the word of God in Proverbs 4:18
which says:
” But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.”
That for you, the path of your life shall be from one level of brightness to another.
Your brightness from every area of your life will attract many to Christ again and again.
You will triumph over every antagonist by the brightness of your light henceforth in Jesus’ name. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today’s edition is focused on ‘You Need To Pass The Test of fire’. Fire is very commonly mentioned in the scripture and it is meant for several purposes.
There are two types of fire in the word of God:
A. Physical fire.
B. Spiritual fire.
For instance when Jesus was going through the last phase of his ministry on earth and Peter was trying to escape being persecuted with him, he saw a fire place and joined them.(John 18:18)
But the type of fire that came on the day of Pentecost was a spiritual fire(Acts 2:1-3); similarly the type of fire that was in form of a pillar that led Israel out of Egypt was a spiritual fire too.(Exodus 13:21)
But here today we read in our first scriptural reference that God will subject every work to the test of fire, what?. Yes, you and your work will be tested by fire.
#…The vessel will be tested by fire.
#…The content will be tested by fire.
Whatever you are doing for God in any capacity must be properly checked and rechecked in order for it to follow due order.
When some people came up with a new cart to carry the Ark of the Covenant they created a commotion that led to the death of uzzah.(II Samuel.6:7).
When some people felt they were knowledgeable enough to minister and they produced unauthorised fire, they lost their lives for it.(Lev 16:1)
The sons of Sceva tried to make a photocopy of the ministry of Jesus and Paul and God allowed demons to disgrace them with beating and torn clothes(Acts 19:14-16)
Now if this is a serious matter, then it must be given the much needed attention.
This matter of the end must matter to you NOW if you must matter in the reckoning of God at the end. Serious matter right?
WHAT TO DO IF THIS MATTERS TO YOU.
1. Take time to appreciate God for this reminder.
Because God could have kept quiet and allow you to proceed in your old way only to be disqualified ultimately by the test of fire.
#…God revealed Isaiah’s condition to him so that he would not be disqualified on the last day, and he was eventually helped out of his filthy state.
Beloved, what are the traits of the things that will be burnt off on the last day that you need to get rid of NOW before it is too late?
A. Whatever does not have positive,lasting and eternal value.
B. Things that are appealing to man NOW but are repulsive to God.
C. Whatever glorifies the flesh and dishonours the spirit.
D. Anything that takes your attention away from God to any other thing or person.
E. Everything that has carnal content, self glorification and adulation.
All these and everything they represent must be forcefully separated from you now by fire or else they will reduce you to nothing on the day of reckoning as you pass through the test of fire.
May God grant you clear understanding in Jesus’ name.

6. Isaiah 45:1- Father, please I plead hold my hand like Cyrus and keep me at the centre of your will till eternity in Jesus’ name.
7. PRAY IN THE SPIRIT THAT YOUR LABOURS IN GOD’S VINEYARD WILL NOT BURN TO ASHES ON THE LAST DAY.
