Topic: The Tonic of Appreciation In Supplication
Text: I Thessalonians 5:16-18, Ephesians 5:18-20
” Rejoice evermore. [17] Pray without ceasing. [18] In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
” And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; [19] speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; [20] giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;”
Greetings of double blessings to you our esteemed reader and friend wherever you are joining us for today’s edition of your facinating and exciting feast of the word and prayers worldover.
With absolute confidence in the word of life as it is written in Isaiah 60:11 as follows:
” Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.”
The God of heaven who has the hearts of Kings in his hand will open their hearts to favour you.
Therefore your gates shall usher great men into your home with equally great blessings.
Blessings of gentiles shall be brought to you
And the glory of God in your life shall multiply daily all your life in Jesus’ name. AMEN & AAAMEN.
We are looking into the perfect law of liberty today to derive the tonic of appreciation for supplication.
A meditative study of our first scriptural reference reveals a number of insights for immidiate application in supplication.
#…The foundational role of rejoicing, especially in the Lord according to Philippians 4:4 in prayer is a mega tonic of note. The connection of thanksgiving with rejoicing is self evident.
…Joy is a weapon of warfare
…Joy is a fruit of the spirit
…Joy is a defence.
#…Next is the exhortation to supplicate.
…What you don’t ask for you fail to receive
…The potency of asking in faith is limitless.
#…Followed by thanksgiving as the will of God.
…Nothing good appreciates without appreciation.
…The frequency of gratitude is what prevents being grounded.
…The Lord who dwells in the praises of His people is able to do all things.
In the second scriptural reference above, we gleaned the fact that:
#…The prominent position of being filled with the spirit like a man who is filled with wine is here stated.
#…Again the first fact above is quickly followed with thanksgiving. This pre-eminent position of thanksgiving is an indispensable tonic for appropriate supplication, creating the right environment for the spirit of God to move.
Beloved, develop an iron cast resistant to any form of murmuring, rather ensure that you develop a system of turning everything and every situation to thanksgiving.
You access supernatural inspirations as you celebrate and appreciate the Lord God of Israel.
You compel situations to bow to you as you attract God through fire filled thanksgiving.
God takes over your battle as your battle becomes God’s battle.
When you live a thankful life which is the will of God, His will turns around your world for better.
The power of a tonic is to provide much needed stamina for extra mile performance. Keep this in mind and apply same regarding thanksgiving.
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAISE GOD PROFUSELY.
Let us thank God, a heart felt thanksgiving now..

4. Psalm 40:5-Father am not able to count all the things you have done but I thank you for everyone of them. Thank you Lord in Jesus’ name.
5. Psalm 124:1-Father if you were not on my side the story would have been different. Therefore am greatly grateful for all you do Lord in Jesus’ name.
6. Psalm 50:14-Father let my offering of thanksging be acceptable to you Lord, make me a distributor of the spirit of thanksgiving worldover in Jesus’ name.
