Topic: The Secret of Multiplication of Grace.
Text: II Peter 1:1-3
” Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: [2] grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, [3] according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”
Greetings of consistent encounter with the life transforming word of God to you our much cherished reader and friend wherever you may be connecting with us for today’s edition of your refreshing feast of the word and prayers worldover.
In alignment with the word of God as it is written in Ezekiel 12:26 saying:
” Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,”
Therefore, in the order of Ezekiel you will have regular and consistent encouter with the word of God.
The word will come to you and empower you to overcome every negative situation henceforth
This same life giving word will transform your world for better in the mountain melting name of Jesus. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today we are sharing on the secret of multiplication of grace. A serious look at our scriptural reference above shows that:
#…Peter’s letter was written to believers
#…These are people he referred to as having obtained like precious faith
The Greek word interpreted to precious is ‘isotimos’ which means valuable and costly faith, faith of a great price.
It can be said therefore that this our faith cost a high price which is the life of our Lord Jesus.
If I may remind you what is written in John 1:14
as follows:
” And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
This takes us to the second verse where Peter exploded a secret when he said…
#…grace and peace be multiplied to you through
the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ..
Grace which is a very specially coined word also connotes special ability given by the divinity to humanity to manifest ingenuity.
It is this ability that separates the successful from the failure. This is because you need this divine ability to proper solutions to challenges of y9ur time and fulfill destiny to the fullest.
You need to be acquainted with this fact that when you increase in the knowledge of God you multiply your ability.
The knowledge of God introduces you to the unsearchable understanding of the most high.
Through this access you become a wonder on earth and a spectacle to your world.
In Psalm 119:98-100 it is written:
” Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: For they are ever with me. [99] I have more understanding than all my teachers: For thy testimonies are my meditation. [100] I understand more than the ancients, Because I keep thy precepts.”
Small wonder Daniel succeeded in being ten times better than his contemporaries even as it is written in Daniel 1:20
” And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.”
Therefore search for the knowledge of God the way people search for precious stones, hunger for the bread of life much more than the way you hunger for physical food, very soon your growth, will attract so much abilities that you will be in high demand world over.
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY ABOUT IT.
