Topic: Don’t bow So That You Don’t burn.
Text: Daniel 3:16-18, Acts 19:14-16
” Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. [17] If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. [18] But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”
” And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. [15] And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? [16] And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.”
Greetings of all round well being to you our much cherished reader and friend wherever you are joining or connecting with us for today’s edition of your fire-filled feast of the word and prayers world over.
On the authority of III John 1:2, which says:
” Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
To fervently pray for you that:
God will make you prosperous spiritually indeed
You will flourish emotionally and physically.
You will become a distributor of divine prosperity to your generation in Jesus’ name. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today’s focus is on the need not to bow if you don’t want to burn. In our first scriptural reference above above:
#…The three Hebrew brothers were bold enough to tell the king(of all persons) that they will not bow.
#…This is sequel to many factors..such as:
A. They were very sure of their God BASED ON INDIVIDUAL EXPERIENTIAL KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.
It is your personal encounters with God that determines and dictates how you speak and act about and on behalf of God.
Daniel 11:32b says:
“… but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
Nothing boosts your confidence against evil machinations of the enemy like knowledge of God..KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.!!!.
THE QUESTION IS HOW DOES KNOWLEDGE OF GOD MAKE THIS POSSIBLE?
It is done by multiplying the GRACE AND PEACE of God upon you as you acquire it. See how the word explicitly puts it in 2 Peter 1:2.
“..grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,”
So when you feed on the word you tend to get BETTER and BOLDER as heaven breathes on you and your earthly journey becomes more fruitful, eventful and successful as you become MUCH MORE THAN A CONQUEROR.
B. These brothers were very truthful with God in the secret place. In other words they did not BOW IN THE SECRET only to come out to show some bravado in public!!!.
This matter of the dominion of the Hebrew boys is about the secret place. Your public accomplishment is a product of your secret sacrifice.
Therefore don’t compromise in the secret and let your private life showcase your public desire to beat the enemy to it.
This was what the sons of Sceva did not do and they were..BEATEN…THEIR CLOTHES TORN, OPEN DISGRACE METED TO THEM…ETC.
Beware of little, little compromises in the secret they only lead to open disgrace ultimately.
DON’T BOW IN SECRET TO:
#…..Fleshly lust
#….Pride of life
#…Unfaithfulness of any type.
#…Deceitfulness of riches
#…Faitlessness.etc.
Remember what defiles a man and ultimately makes him to bow comes from inside therefore take heed to Proverbs 4:23 which says:
” Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life.”
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY ABOUT IT.

1. Psalm 108:1-Father my heart is forever configured to worship and praise your wonderful name. Be glorified Daddy in Jesus’ name.
2. Psalm 28:7-Father my heart fully trust in you, because my help forever comes from you O Lord of Isreal, the personification of light. Thank you for previous, current and future packages of divine help sir in Jesus’ name.
3. Psalm 3:3-Faithful father you are the lifter of my head, mercifully uphold me with your everlasting hand both in the secret and in the open in the name of Jesus.
4. Isaiah 54:17-Father let the horde of hell loose their potency over my life and every of their weapon wasted in the name of Jesus.
5. Luke 10:19-Father, I renew my power to prevail over every travail, I subdue under my feet every personality and entity waging war against my mandate and destiny in the wonder working name of Jesus.
6. Acts 4:31- Father, I refire today and counteract every move that is contrary to the direction of the Holy Spirit for my life, I quench every arrow of fire directed at me in the name of Jesus.
