Topic: Don’t Deceive Yourself This New Month
Text: James 1:22-25
” But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. [23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: [24] for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. [25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”
Greetings of wonders without number to you our esteemed reader and friend wherever you may be aligning with us for today’s edition of your ever increasing revival provoking feast of the word and prayers worldover.
Job 9:10 says:
” Which doeth great things past finding out; Yea, and wonders without number.”
Since you are a child of the Almighty God who does wonders without number, surely your life shall reflect this awesome power of your father.
You will produce in the same manner in which you have been packaged and loaded.
Every area of your life will advertise wonders without numbers in the life changing name of Jesus. AMEN AND AAAMEN.
Today being the first working day in this new month we are focusing on don’t deceive yourself this new month.
The word of God says God knows those who are His own..see it explicitly stated in II Timothy 2:19
” Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
And don’t forget that the devil does not only know those who are his own but also those on God’s side as well, take a look at the way he put it in Acts 19:15
” And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?”
Therefore you need to ensure that you are intentional and deliberate about your spiritual position this new month.
Looking at our scriptural reference above, the living word of God made it clear that:
A. The word of God must be seen as a mirror
B. Once you see, ( because you will surely see)something wrong in your life through the mirror of God’s word. Why?, it is because the ministry of the word is wide and diversified for outer benefit as it is written:
2 Timothy 3:16
” All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”
C. Make the necessary correction immediately, it is the doer of the word like this that is blessed.
D. It is the doer that will be blessed in his deeds.
E. WHOEVER DOES NOT DO THE WORD OF GOD BUT IS MERELY CALLING HIMSELF A CHRISTIAN IS ONLY DECEIVING HIMSELF. PERIOD.
You can’t afford not to apply the word of God to your work or career this new month.
Enthrone the word of God in your home this month much more than ever before also.
Make the word the source of your inspiration, motivation and action this new month.
Beloved friend, as you start this new month don’t deceive yourself, rather do the word with distinct seriousness and zealousness.
By so doing you will attract plenty of heavens attention and attendant testimonies.
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY ABOUT IT.

5. Ezekiel 12:17-Father the sense of urgency to do your word as soon as it comes to me baptize me with it in Jesus’ name.
6. Psalm 107:20- Father the word of healing and deliverance that will make me a blessing much more than before let it come to me speedily and regularly in Jesus’ name.
