Topic: There is a Message Around Your Mess.
Text: Genesis 50:16-20
” And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Thy father did command before he died, saying, [17] So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him. [18] And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants. [19] And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? [20] But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”

Things will get better for you daily, weekly monthly and annually in the wonder working name of Jesus. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today, we are focusing on the need to exploit the message in your mess maximally. A mess refers to a situation that is not comfortable, a predicament and a tight corner of some sort.
But in every situation there is always a message.
In the scriptural reference above the sons of Jacob sold out Joseph because of their envy of him for the dreams he had and shared with them and their parents.
But when the dreams were finally fulfilled the brothers came up with a story purportedly from their late father (Jacob) to the effect that Joseph should take it easy with them and should not take revenge against them.
But the reply of Joseph is actually our focus today being the message from the whole mess.
He said:
A. He wondered whether he was in Gods place
B. That even though they meant it for evil.
C. God turned it around for good.
This is very deep indeed. MAGNANIMITY IN VICTORY.
In Genesis 1:2 The world that God created was found to have been turned upside down. Darkness took over, shapelessness, void and other uncomplimentary words were used to describe the situation.
When God appeared on the scene with His word
He did not address the darkness but rather said LET THERE BE LIGHT, AND THERE WAS LIGHT INSTANTLY. What a message from the mess!!!.
May I also remind you that when Jabez found out that he was in a deep mess of sorrow he did not despair neither did he resign to fate. Rather he turned his mess to a set of five explosive prayer points that have continued to affect the nations of the world positively today.
What mess have found yourself in? What message are you bringing out of it for the whole world to learn today?
Sarah came up with the message of laughter for generations to learn from her experience of mess called bareness.
Job delivered a message of a better end despite life’s challenges orchestrated by the devil.
You too cannot afford not to leave a positive mark in the sand of time in the light of your experience on this side of eternity. WHAT IS YOUR MESSAGE?
