Text: Deuteronomy 1:6-8, John 17:11-17
” The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount: [7] turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates. [8] Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.”
” And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. [12] And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: [13] and they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. [14] And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. [15] And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, [16] and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. [17] And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?”
Greeting of divine favour to you our much loved and cherished reader and friend wherever you may be connecting with us for today’s life transforming feast of the word and prayer worldover.
On the authoritative position of Luke 1:28..
” And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.”
Surely, the way and manner God favoured Esther God will favour you.
Upgraded favour just like the experience of Mary shall be your testimony.
Everything that represent rejection in and around you is giving way now in the mighty name of Jesus. AMEN & AAAMEN.
This being the second part of this topic, talking about Progress in the right direction, we intend to look at the word of liberty and check a few things we need to turn away from so that we can please God.
Looking at the second scriptural reference as a sequel to the first we could see clearly that one of the lepers turned away from:
A. The path of spiritual blindness. Specifically in John 17:15, the word of life tells us that, this fellow checked himself and SAW that he was healed. That precipitated his U-turn that brought him face to face with the next level of his blessing. TURN AWAY FROM SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS AND INDIFFERENCE.
Ephesians 1:17-18 says:
” that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: [18] the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,”
B. On a second note, this man turned away from the path of ingratitude. It is very unfortunate really to note that many believers are actually ingrates. Why?
They don’t usually value what God has done for them. They believe they are doing God a favour when they praise and thank Him. That’s why:
…They don’t take praise and worship very seriously
….They abdicate their primary duty of praising God and they delegate it to to a few people referred to as choristers!!!!. GOD HAVE MERCY.
Further more have you observed that:
…Most people in our churches don’t like to clap their hands at all in spite of Psalm 47:1.
…Yet they won’t acquire any form of musical instrument not even the smallest tambourine.!!??
BEWARE AND TURN AWAY FROM INGRATITUDE:
#…Ingratitude annoys God
#….Thank God for what He did, doing and will do
#…Thank the people God is using to bless you
#…Thanklessness is a sinker, ask Samson
#….Ingratitude reverses opportunities. Is. 5:1-7.
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY ABOUT IT.

REVIVAL PROVOKING PRAYER BULLETS.
1. Ezekiel 12:26- Father thank you for sending your word to me again, again and again. I sincerely appreciate your concern for my well-being Lord in Jesus’ name.
2. Psalm 119:18-Father, mercifully open my eyes that I may access wonders without number beyond the physical realm in Jesus’ name.
3. Jeremiah 33:3b-Father reveal great and mighty things to me today that will help me to make great and mighty impact in my generation in Jesus’ name.
