Text: Revelation 21:22-27
” And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. [23] And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. [24] And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. [25] And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. [26] And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. [27] And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”

The living word of God in Nehemiah 8:10 says
” Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
We passionately pray for you that:
The joy of the Lord will generously multiply in your life and all yours.
You will never have anything to do with sorrow
By reason of divine joy, God will saturate you with untold all round blessings in Jesus’ name.

Today’s edition is focused on what is motivating you about heaven.
Heaven is the headquarters so to say and God decided to position His throne there while the earth remains His footstool.(Matthew 5:34-35).
There are several characteristics of heaven that should motivate a man, a few of them are:
A. Heaven is a very peaceful place. This should not surprise genuine children of God because it is written that one of the names of Jesus is THE PRINCE OF PEACE( Isaiah 9:6).
That’s partly the reason that Hebrews 14:12 is imperative, saying..
” Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord”
It is only a man of peace who.will inherit a place of peace. This is quite motivating, right?
B. The streets of heaven is also another source of motivation for heaven conscious christians.
When people worship gold here on earth they relegate themselves to a lower level of spiritual wretchedness. The book of Revelation 21:21
tells it as it below.
” And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.”
C. There is a continuous and perpetual worship that goes on in heaven as the angels with twenty four elders are busy worshipping the most high God. This is beyond description indeed.
Revelation 7:11-12 confirms this fact as follows..
” And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, [12] saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.”
D. Furthermore, the delicacy of heaven is not comparable to what we are still eating here on earth. The fruit of the tree of life will be available for us all to benefit maximally from.
Revelation 22:2 says..
” In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
E. Finally, with reference to our scriptural reference above we can say authoritatively that there will be no darkness there and there will be no need for the sun because the glory of the Lord and the lamb of God are the sources of the supernatural illumination of heaven.
A city of perpetual light, peace, joyful worship and heavenly delicacy. Don’t you get special motivation from the nature of heaven?
