Topic: What’s Motivating you About Heaven? 2
Text: 2 Timothy 4:6-8
” For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. [7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: [8] henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
Greetings of marvelous works of the most high to you our much cherished and loved reader and friend wherever you may be connecting with us for today’s edition of your favourite firerised feast of the word and prayers worldover.
We stand firmly on the authority of the living word of God as it is written in, Psalm 104:24..
” O LORD, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all: The earth is full of thy riches.”
To passionately pray for you that:
By the supernatural wisdom of God your life shall powerfully advertise the manifold wonders of God to your generation.
The riches God has deposited fully on earth will equally be fully manifested in your life in the everlasting name of Jesus. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today’s edition being the second in the series is focused on what happens when a fellow is highly motivated.
When a man is very motivated to make heaven for instance, his capacity to endure hardship is enlarged and expanded.
Such a fellow will then be able to take and assimilate a lot of shocks.
This was the case with Paul who listed a few of the things he endured while pursuing the purpise of God for his life on earth.
In 2 Corinthians 11:23-27 the Apostle Paul listed a few of some of the things he endured. He said..
” Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. [24] Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. [25] Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; [26] in journeying often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; [27] in weariness and painfulness, in watching often, in hunger and thirst, in fasting often, in cold and nakedness.”
This is quite a list of torrents of bombardments of one persecution after another.
Yet this is not all.
Despite all these because of Paul’s focus on finishing well and making heave, again he said in 2 Corinthians 6:4-10 as follows:
” But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, [5] in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watching, in fastings; [6] by pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, [7] by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, [8] by honour and dishonor, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; [9] as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; [10] as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.”
This is what we are talking about that, when a man is fully focused on making heaven, his capacity to endure will be considerably enlarged.
The question to you now is what have you endured and what are you willing to endure to make heaven?
Are you one of those who can’t stand or endure any form of inconvenience for the sake of Jesus and this kingdom of light?
It is doubtful if you are focused on making heaven. Is it not written that:
A. You should endure hardship as a good soldier of Christ.(II Timothy 2:3)
B. Endure chastening like someone being dealt with as a son. (Hebrews 12:7)
C. Endure afflictions (II Timothy 4:5)
.D. Endure all things like Paul for the sake of the elect.(II Timothy 2:10)
Beloved, can I share this with you for deeper understand? It an incontrovertible fact that the bigger what you endure the more you would be able to do on earth for God and the more your reward will eventually be when you arrive home ultimately.
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY FOR ENHANCED CAPACITY TO ENDURE ALL THINGS MUCH MORE SO THAT YOU CAN PREVAIL ULTIMATELY.

REVIVAL PROVOKING PRAYER NUGGETS.
1. John 14:2- Father I passionately appreciate you for the place you have prepared for me. Thanks a lot sir in Jesus’ name.
2. Ezekiel.37:8- Father, mercifully help me to prepare myself for the place you gave prepared for me in the mighty name of Jesus.
3. I Kings 4:29- Father please give me largeness of heart much more than Solomon, that I may understand and endure much more in Jesus’ name.
4. Psalm 84:7- Father, I receive multiplied strength to endure much more as am determined and eagerly praying to make heaven in Jesus’ name.
5. II Corinthians 11:23-27- Father irrespective of their magnitude and intensity, let the torrents of persecution targeted at me loose their effects in the mighty name of Jesus.
6. II Corinthians 6:4-10-Father in the order of Paul, help me to prevail and make it to heaven like a gallant soldier of Christ in Jesus’ name.
