Topic: Who Persuaded You Against God’s Word?
Text: Genesis 3: 1-6

” Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? [2] And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: [3] but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. [4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: [5] for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. [6] And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”
Greetings of commanded blessings to you our esteemed reader and friend wherever you are connecting with us for today’s refired feast of the word and prayers worldover.
We trust God based on His word in Deuteronomy 28:2 which says:
[1] And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: [2] and all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.”
The great grace for total obedience will rest upon you and all yours.
Whatever is capable of curtailing God’s glorious package for you shall be neutralised.
Commanded blessings will run after you and overtake you in every area of life.
Therefore you will swim in the pool of blessings in Jesus’ name. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today we are sharing briefly on who persuaded you against God’s word. God created human being with a personal will to act in a particular way. Every action is therefore motivated and instigated by a force from within.
Until a man is totally persuaded he will not embark on a particular line of action.
In our scriptural reference above, Satan spoke through the serpent (Satan & serpent!!!) to the woman and took a position that is contrary to God’s position. Satan suceeded in persuading Eve to such an extent that:
A. The woman started seeing what was not there to see!!! ” when the woman SAW that …”
B. The woman suddenly developed a strange appetite for the forbidden…” ..that the tree was GOOD FOR FOOD!!!
C. In the light of the two points above she started seeing physically what she had been persuaded to see. ARE YOU ALSO SEEING THROUGH THE EYES OF SATAN?!!!
D. What followed is unimaginable, She became the distributor of the position the enemy sold to her and her husband was the first victim!!!
Beloved, in which area of your life are you acting contrary to God’s word.
More over who is persuading you against the word of God?
Devil can use many fronts to achieve his goal.
#….Is the flesh being used to set you up against God?(Galatians 5:17). Fire back with fasting and prayers.
#…Is it the counsel of worldly friends around you (II Chronicles 10:8). Separate yourself to God alone.
#…Are you being persuaded against divine instruction by your spouse like Job.(Job 2:9).
#..Is it the idol you have kept in your heart that is up against the counsel of God for you.(James 4:3)..cry for divine intervention today.
Stand up right now in your mind against every evil counsel and checkmate everything and anything that is rising against the knowledge of God and cast them down. Why?
1. Consider the consequences of disobeying God
especially in the light of the experience of Adam and Eve.
2. Think about the effect and the consequences on the future generations and your lineage in the light of Gehazi experience.(II Kings 5:27).
3. Consider the disgraceful effect of disobedience of Saul the king of Israel (I Samuel 28:17).
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY AGAINST EVIL INFLUENCES AND PERSUATIONS FROM ANY DIRECTION.
Let us pray.

5. Matthew 13:25- Father every evil seed and suggestions planted in my heart and mind by the enemy I command them uprooted now by fire in Jesus’ name.
6. Isaiah 54:17- Father, every tongue that rises against my life and my destiny I condemn right now in Jesus’ name.
