Topic: It Takes Sacrifice To Receive The Promise
Text: Revelation 5:11-12
” 11. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
12. saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.”
Greetings of all round blessings to you and all yours our esteemed reader and friend wherever you may be joining us for today’s edition of your firerised feast of the word and prayers worldover.
On the authority of III John 1:2 where it is written:
” Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
Therefore we join our faith with yours to pray very passionately for you that:
The wish of God for you will come to pass.
You will enjoy profound spiritual prosperity
Physical and material prosperity will be yours.
God will make you His very special treasurer of all manners of good things in the name of Jesus.
AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today we are looking at the fact that it takes a life of sacrifice to possess the promise.
In our Bible reference above we read about Jesus being the one who was slain to receive these seven fold deliverables including:
Power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory and honour.
If you study the chapter from the beginning you will discover that a need arose and appropriate person to meet it were being scouted for, and then the lamb that was slained stepped forward to open the seal and undertake the exercise.
Immidiately rejoicing and celebration erupted among the heavenly hosts, that finally humanity is saved from the weight of sin, sickness and satan.
Dear reader it was this sacrifice of Jesus that made God to give him the name that is above every other name. He was further empowered to deliver all round abundance to humanity.
Beloved, if it took Jesus a great sacrifice to obtain the great name and status it cannot take you less than sacrificial lifestyle to access the promise of seven fold deliverables of the trinity.
WHAT ARE WE AIMING AT REALLY?
#1…You must deliver sacrifice of praise to heaven if you desire to enter into His presence in the inner court iof heaven to access fullness of joy. (Psalm 100:4).
#2…It will require a sweet smelling sacrifice on a brand new blood washed altar of your heart to access a new covenant with the Almighty God(Genesis 8:20-22).
#3…You will need the sacrificial prayer life if you must fulfill destiny. Jesus the only begotten son of God prayed and his sweat became like drops of blood in the garden of Gethsemane.(Luke.22:44)
Even the third person in the lineage of Abraham, Jacob, when returning from Laban’s house had to wrestle with an angel to have his name changed and destiny fulfilled(Genesis 32:22-32).
#4…You need to grow up to begin to offer sacrificial service to the most high, service offered with gladness and joy, kingdom expanding service without strings attached. Your greatness is tied irreversibly to the sacrificial service you offer.(Mark 10:43)
What price have you paid for this kingdom of light, what scar are you carrying on your body today that is traceable to your insistence on God’s standard of holiness? There is no crown without the cross and there is no rose without its thorns.
Whatever promise of God you desire is available and accessible only when you pay the price.
Remember personal responsibility is the ultimate attraction of dignity. This is how Proverbs 9:12 put it for our benefit.
” If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.”
PONDER ON THIS MATTER IF YOU MUST MATTER IN THE MATTERS OF YOUR GENERATION AND DISPENSATION.
