Topic: Beware of The Kiss of a Friendly Enemy
Text: Mark 14:43-45
” And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. [44] And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely. [45] And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.”
We warmly welcome you our esteemed reader and friend to today’s edition of your firerised feast of the word and prayer worldover.
The word of God in 2 Timothy 4:18 says:
” And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
Therefore we join our faith with yours to pray for you as follows:
God will deliver you from all manners of evil
You shall be preserved by God for His glory
The Lord God of all flesh will deliver all round testimonies to you and all yours in Jesus’ name.

Today we are looking intently at the issue of friendly enemy. There are people who don’t really like you or dislike your calling but are forced to be friendly with you for so many reasons.
WHY AN ENEMY CAN BE FRIENDLY.
1. It is in agreement with the nature of the devil their master who sometimes woll disguise as an angel of light.
2. They behave friendly to get close enough to do maximum damage to their so called friend.
3. They pretend to be friendly to get the benefit of being close to you in order to get what they don’t natural deserve and would not have gotten under normal circumstances.
4. Enemies like to be friendly also to collect and collate information that they can pass to their collaborators in order to achieve their target.
5. Enemies like to be friendly so that they can fulfill their promise to their backers and encouragers and then be fully paid.
WHAT EVER MAY BE THE MOTIVE THE SPIRIT OF G9D WANTS YOU TO BEWARE OF THE KISS OF A FRIENDLY ENEMY.
In our scriptural reference above, Judas had agreed with the Pharisses, Sadduces and other enemies of Jesus that whoever he approached with a kiss should be arrested as the master Jesus. JUDAS BETRAYED JESUS WITH A KISS!!!
A kiss should be a sign of friendship love or affection. Alas it was the sign the enemy used to betray the master. GOD HAVE MERCY. BELOVED READER BEWARE OF THE KISS OF A FRIENDLY ENEMY.
Today people are still being betrayed by their so called friends. But why?
#1…People who are friendly betray their so called friends for money like Judas!!! All manners of backstabbing have been recorded even among so called Christians!!! BEWARE..
#2…People betray their friends because of opposite sex, either male or female, for this reason many past friends have become archenemies!!!!
#3….People betray each other because of political power either in national politics or in an organizational politicking even in a church setting I have seen negative politics in church administration that only God can mercifully decode and normalize.
Betrayal of a close friend can be devastating and painful that is why you should beware of this tendency in a man and:
….Minimize your expectation of mere men, it is only God that is ultimately hundred percent reliable and dependable.
…..Be watchful, be careful and be prayerful.
…..Be reliable and become the exception for better and a positive reference point.
PONDER ON THIS MATTER OF FRIENDLY ENEMY AND PRAY ABOUT IT ALSO.
