Topic: Is Jesus In Your Company?
Text: Luke 2:43-45.
” And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. [44] But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day’s journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. [45] And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.”
Greetings of assurance of answered prayers to you dearly beloved reader and friend wherever you are domiciled and joining us for today’s edition of your firerised feast of the word and prayer world over.
On the infallible word of God in Jeremiah 33:3 which says:
” Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
We passionately pray for you that:
As you call on God your voice of prayer will not enter into the voice mail.
God will answer you with multiple testimonies.
Great and mighty things will become your trade mark even into the generations unborn in the name of Jesus. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today we are sharing on the topic: Is Jesus in your company? Now reading and meditating on our scriptural reference above, you will notice some things straight away.
#1…The earthly parents of Jesus left him behind in Jerusalem after the annual meeting.
#2..They supposed he was coming along. But were not sure at all.
#3..The parents were surprised that Jesus was not disturbed that he was not among them.
#4….Did you ask or contemplate what could have preoccupied the earthly parents of Jesus from noticing that he was not with them for so long, for a day’s journey?
There are people who keep the company where Jesus cannot be found, are you in a company where Jesus cannot be found? Company of the enemies of the crosa!!!
Were you formerly with Jesus and very zealous for his kingdom but now you have lost touch with Jesus!!!Have you not lost your first love for the one who died for your sin on the cross?
What could have made you to loose your relationship with Jesus?
When you love the worldly system you will not be able to accommodate the love of the father. This is very foundational.
If you are a lover of money or a servant of mammon, you will not be able to serve the master Jesus, he will leave your company, because he does not like competition with other gods. He is a jealous God.(Exidus 34:14)
Sinfulness of any sort either in thought or speech or deed is a put off for Jesus. Being a tripple holy God it is his expectation that you will be holy as he is also holy.(Isaiah 6:3; I Peter 1:16).
If you keep any form of evil company in the name of business or career progress or to be politically correct in order to obtain the favour of man without checking whether the master will approve it or not, you may end up being on your own and loosing his previous presence.
Beloved reader what ever will make you to loose the company of Jesus keep far away from it. This is because:
A. When Jesus is not in your company you loose the joy of salvation.
B. When Jesus is disconnected from you crisis will multiply, without Christ crisis becomes inevitable.
C. When Jesus is not in your company you loose the ability to do any thing. He said without him you can do nothing.(John 15:5; Phil 4:13).
D. When Jesus is not in your company you loose abundance of all good things that he brought for us to enjoy as it is written in John 10:10b.
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND LIVE IN SUCH A WAY AS TO CONTINUE TO ENJOY THE PRESENCE OF GOD. PRAY ABOUT THIS MATTER.

1. Psalm.16:11- Father your presence is an indispensable tonic of fullness of joy. I passionately glorify your holy name Lord in Jesus’ name.
2. Luke 2:43- Father the journey I will embark upon without your presence may I never go on such journey forever in Jesus’ name.
3. Proverbs 1:10- Father I say CAPITAL NO to every form of enticement of the devil in Jesus’ name.
4. Luke 16:13- Father, I refuse to collaborate with mammon, I will never serve Mammon in Jesus’ name.
5. Luke 2:44- Father, I refuse to dwell at the level of mere supposition, I will forever stand with the master and be sure of my stand all my life in Jesus’ name.
6. Psalm.33:15- Father mercifully let your presence go with me everywhere I go henceforth much more than ever before in Jesus’ name.
