Topic: I Must Maximise My Axe Head
Text: 2 Kings 6:5-7
” But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.
6. And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.
7. Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.”
Greetings of divine lifting to you our esteemed reader and friend where ever you are connecting with us for today’s feast of the word and prayers world over.
The Psalmist tells us in Psalm 3:3 that:
” But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.”
Therefore, the shield of the Almighty will neutralize every arrow directed at you.
The great lifter will lift up your heard high and above every vicissitude.
Therefore your glory will speak and your testimonies will multiply in Jesus’ name.
AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today is the seventh day of the month of double grace plus. The focus is on I must maximise my axe head.
Your axe head is your instrument of destiny manifestation. It is your ordination from on high according to Jeremiah 3:4-5.
Your axe head is your uniqueness and that thing that sets you apart from others. It is what you can do with ease.
According to our scriptural reference above, the axe head which enabled a son of the Prophet to cut a tree fell into the water!!!
What happened?
A. Loosely attached and not properly fixed?
B. The error of the user who mishandled the axe such that the head fell off.
C. Was it a competitive disposition of the user that removed the axe head?
THIS CALLS FOR SERIOUS SELF EXAMINATION.
What mistakes are you making NOW that could remove your axe head? Identification of a current blunder will mitigate future disaster and regret.
For example what blunders were committed by Samson that made him loose his axe head?
It is human to err, but mistakes repeated becomes a habit.
WHAT TO DO TO PREVENT LOOSING YOUR AXE HEAD.
1. Be watchful of your thought..they rule from inside to dominate your world.Proverbs 4:23 says keep your heart with all diligence.
2. Never think of good things only, but Insist on taking the right action. The doer is the one who is blessed in all his ways(James 1:25.)
3. When though and action are in their right places, good habit is usually the result. Samson kept following the wrong women and it became a habit that destroyed his destiny. “Let me die with the Philistines..” was his last prayer in Judges 16:30. MAY YOU NOT DIE WITH YOUR ENEMIES.
4. It is the habit that usually leads to the formation of character, the word of God in Hebrews 13:5 says
” Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
5. In addition to uprightness or holy lifestyles you also need to acquire necessary life skills to handle intricate matters of life.
Psalm 78:72 tells us that David led the people with INTEGRITY & SKILLFULNESS. David according to I Samuel 16:18 had many skills.
And while in Saul’s palace, he conducted himself with wisdom.
1 Samuel 18:14 confirms this as follows:
” And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD was with him.”
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY ABOUT IT.

REVIVAL PROVOKING PRAYER BULLETS.
1. Phillipians 1:6- Father you are worthy of my praise because you are able to keep me and all my loved ones. Glory goes to you sir in Jesus’ name.
2. Judges 14:2- Father let every internal enemy waging war against my destiny be silenced forever in Jesus’ name.
3. Isaiah 54:16- Father, every waster hibernating anywhere around me, be exposed and disposed on Jesus’ name.
4. Jeremiah 1:4-5-Father, let my ordination from heaven speak expressly and gloriously in the wonderful name of Jesus.
5. Jude 1:22- Father what makes me positively different and unique will not be lost in the wonderful name of Jesus.
6. II Corinthians 3:18- Father, I must maximise my axe head, I am destined to move from glory to glory in full manifestation of my destiny in Jesus’ name.
