Text: Matthew 25:1-9
” Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. [2] And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. [3] They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: [4] but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. [5] While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. [6] And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. [7] Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. [8] And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. [9] But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.”

Today we are focusing and praying on the topic Are You in the Number?
I have had a long time inspiration about Biblical mathematics, figures are all over the scriptures with divine intention to teach one lesson or the other.
In our scriptural reference above we read about the ten virgins, out of which five were wise and five foolish. This is like 50% a side.
But the question is on which side are you?. Are you in the number that we have here recorded to be wise or otherwise?
In the narration contained in Joshua 14:6-14, we discovered that six hundred thousand men left Egypt and only two of the people made it to the promised land!!!! WHAT A CALAMITOUS STORY!!!
In the story of the days of Noah recorded in Genesis, out of the whole humanity at the time, only eight people survived as Luke 17:27 says ” ..the flood came and took all of them away..”
ARE YOU IN THE NUMBER!!!??
When the word of God recorded the story of the sower it was confirmed that only a quarter of the seed sown fell on a good ground. Ratio 1:4!!??
Tĥree other terrible grounds tended to sandwitch the only good ground.
May I remind you that:
***The sons of Jacob were numbered twelve
***Jesus chose twelve disciples.
***But the.master took only three to the.top of mount of transfiguration. Are these random figures or divine arrangements?
***Elijah chose twelve stones as the foundation of his altar of fire.
Beloved, figures will matter on the last day, #1….Number of souls won
#2…. Number of talents you received, number utilised and number wasted.
#3…Number of the gifts of the spirit you received and the number utilized.
#4…The opportunity given, those utilized and those wasted.
#5…We are going to give account to God on the last day, and it will involve figures. BEWARE.
God has the number of those who are His own.
Elijah, when he ran away from Jezebel in I Kings 19:1-10, he told God that he was the only one standing and God told him that 7000 others were still in the land who had not bowed to Baal!!!!Elijah was seven thousand times ignorant, and wrong!!! MAY YOU NOT BE NUMBERED AMONG THOSE GOING TO HELL RIGHT FROM THE CHURCH!!!
Believe me sincerely God will demand for accurate figures. Let’s live in the consciousness of this fact and do the needful, God will give us the grace to please Him in this regard in Jesus’ name.
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY ABOUT IT.

3. Matthew 25:2- Father, I refuse to be numbered among the foolish, I receive the grace to be wise and overcome every internal trait of foolishness in Jesus’ name.
4. Matthew 25:2-3- Father I want to live ready and not just be getting ready so that I won’t miss it on the last day, I connect with and collect the grace today in Jesus’name.
5. Matthew 25:3-4- Father I reject the slipshod last minute, fire brigade mindset, by the ministry of the Holy spirit, I receive a sound mind for proper and appropriate reconfiguration to manifest the mind of Jesus in Jesus’name.
6. Matthew 25:41-46-Father, by your everlasting mercy don’t let me be counted among those on the left hand side arranged for hell in Jesus’ name.
7. PRAY FERVENTLY IN THE SPIRIT NOW LIKE SOMEBODY WHO.IS DETERMINED TO MAKE HEAVEN.
