Text: Luke 2:8-11
” Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. [9] And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. [10] Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. [11] For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
Greetings of grace and mercy to you our esteemed reader and friend wherever you are connecting with us for today’s edition of your firerised feast of the word and prayers worldover.
Since it is written in Esther 2:17 that:
” The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.”
The grace and mercy of God will set aside every disqualification standing against you in any way.
The garment of favour will cover you like Esther
Your head is attracting royal crown this season
The anointing to step up and take over will rest on you henceforth like never before in Jesus’ name. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today we are dissecting the word of life on the topic Joseph is alive Part two.
When Jacob was told that Joseph was indeed alive, it was a piece of unbelievable goodnews and this is our focus today.
In our focal scripture above we read about the angel that visited the shepherds as they watched over their flock at night,, and delivered the goodnews of the birth of the master Jesus the saviour to them. THIS WAS THE SINGLE BIGGEST GOODNEWS OF ALL TIMES, SEASONS AND GENERATIONS. AS IT WAS THEN SO IT IS TODAY AND SO IT WILL BE FOREVER.
GOODNEWS ARE INDISPENSABLE BECAUSE
#1…A piece of goodnews will make you happy and generate energy for wellness.
Proverbs 17:22 explicitly stated that:
” A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.”
Goodnews therefore is an indirect medicine for sound health, your is delivered NOW.
#2…According to Deuteronomy 28:47, you need joy and gladness to serve God acceptably that is why believers usually revel in the the joy of salvation which Jesus mercifully afforded us. That’s why David once prayed and the prayer is written for our edification in Psalm 51:12 as follows:
” Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.”
#3…Goodnews also is capable of rekindling hope and turning a temporary persimist to a die hard optimist, and in the process stimulate fresh vision of a greater and better tomorrow.
#4…Goodnews can embolden you to face the next challenge with renewed determination and vigour needed to obtain victory in the next battle. Woe betides whatever or whoever attempts to confront a man who has just been renewed and energised with goodnews.
These among other wonders of goodnews are the reasons I want to seriously pray for you that:
This new year you will receive many angelic carriers and visitor of goodnews.
This season and beyond distributors of sad news will not get to your house in Jesus’ name.
WHAT TO DO TO ATTRACT GOODNEWS.
*** Since God extended mercy to you, you too should extend mercy to others as a way of delivering goodnews to them. Remember the servant that was forgiven his debt but refused to forgive others had his blessings reversed.(Matthew 18:21-35).
***Genuinely go out and preach the gospel to everyone around you, this is the ultimate goodnews. The word of God made it clear that there was a great joy in Samaria because of the invasion of the city with the goodnews by Phillip.(Acts 8:1-8).
***Become a generous giver, as you lift people’s burden and put smiles on their faces you will attract divine rewards with the attendant packages of goodness and goodnews that will birth celebrations. What you make happen for others God will make happen for you.
That’s how it is written in Ephesians 6:8 below:
” Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.”
PONDER ON THIS GOODNEWS MATTER AND PRAYERFULLY TAKE NECESSARY ACTIONS.

1. Psalm.34:8-Father you are good and the source of all goodness. I passionately worship you my good God in Jesus’ name.
2. Psalm 73:1- Father truly and surely, you have been very good to me. Therefore I profusely appreciate you Lord for all you have done for me in Jesus’ name
3. Psalm 23:5-Father, once again I reaffirm my connection with you my source, only goodness and goodnews will emanate from my tabernacle for life in the name of Jesus.
4. Luke 2:10-Father send your angel in charge of good news to go to the four corners of the universe to gather my goodness and goodnews and bring them to me speedily now in Jesus’ name.
5. Proverbs 4:18-Father continuous flow of goodnews and goodness culminating to consistent and consecutive celebrations mercifully deliver to me in Jesus’ name.
6. Acts 8:1-8-Father, in the order of Philip, I take my place as a joy distributor and mega channel of goodness globally in Jesus’ name.
