Topic: How Do You Respond To The Enemy’s Threat? 2
Text: I Samuel.17:42-47
” And when the Philistine looked about and saw David, he disdained him; for he was only a youth, ruddy and good-looking. [43] So the Philistine said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come to me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. [44] And the Philistine said to David, “Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field!” [45] Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. [46] This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. [47] Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”
Greetings of Prophetic dominion to you our much cherished reader and friend wherever you are joining us for today’s fire filled feast of the word and prayer worldover.
We stand on the prophetic platform of
Isaiah 59:19 which says:
” So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.”
To passionately pray for you that:
Any and every enemy who comes against you will be smitten for your sake.
The Lord of hosts will raise a standard against them however numerous they may be.
By fire and by earthquake such antagonist shall be distabilized and your prophetic dominion shall last a life time in Jesus’ name. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Beloved reader we are focusing on the second part of How do you respond to the threats of the enemy?. Yesterday we shared how Hezekiah responded, today we are meditating and learning from the response of David to the threats of Goliath.
From our scriptural reference above, we discovered that;
#…David was not moved by the gigantic size of Goliath.
#…The giant was unsparing in his attempt to deride David but David did not allow those words to sink into his mind.
#…David was persistent in declaring the will and mind of God over the situation.
#…David prophesied that he will kill the giant and cut off his head, and it was so.
#…David spoke God’s power into manifestation when he said the people will know that God does not deliver by spears and swords.
#…Coming in the name of the Lord was tantamount to death sentence for Goliath.
TAKE AWAY AND LESSONS FROM DAVID’S RESPONSE TO GOLIATH.
To start with, beloved reader whenever the enemy comes with threats, be fast to declare the word and the will of God clearly concerning the situation.
Secondly, never allow the enemy to have the last say. Keep saying what you want to see in that area of your life. Your word determines what becomes of your world.
Thirdly never be afraid of the enemy irrespective of his size or stature. Simply compare him to the Almighty God of Israel and the opposition will diminish and be reduced to nothing.
Fourthly, remember it is written, in Isaiah 54:17
” No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.”
Therefore beloved reader the ball is in your court now, don’t allow any antagonist to harass you or vex you like Herod the King did to the disciples as written in Acts 12:1.
Beloved let the word of God dwell in you richly so that you will not lack necessary utterance to deal ruthlessly with every messenger of the pit of hell. Enough they say is sufficient for the wise.
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY ABOUT IT VERY WELL.

1. Romans 10:8-Father thank you for the word of faith that is near and in my mouth. Glory goes to you forever in Jesus’ name.

5. Zechariah 4:7-Father I pronounce every mountain of any nature before me be made a lowland supernaturally now in Jesus’ name.
6. I Samuel.17:49- Father I dispatch every Goliath standing against my advancement with the stone of God in Jesus’ name.
