Topic: Obedience the Pathway to Recovery.
Texr: Luke 17:11-16
” Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. [12] Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. [13] And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” [14] So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. [15] And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, [16] and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan”
Greetings of divine defence to you our beloved reader and friend wherever you are connecting with us for today’s firerised feast of the word and prayer worldover.
In the light of Isaiah 64:1 which says:
” Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down! That the mountains might shake at Your presence”
The fire emitting presence of the Lord will surround you and repel every danger.
Mountains by whatever name and description will bow before you.
The glory of the Lord will arise over you and shine through you in the wonder working name of Jesus. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today we shall discuss briefly on the topic: “Obedience the Pathway to Recovery”
In our scriptural reference above we read about ten lepers who had the rare privilege of meeting Jesus and did not allow the opportunity to pass them a bit.
They asked Jesus to have mercy on them and the instruction he gave was quite instructive.
#…He told them to go and show themselves to the Priest to confirm their healing.
#…This was a test of their faith after they had called and asked him for mercy.
#…Their obedience was also being tested as they went to seek out the priest.
#…While they were on their way they were all healed and their skin fully restored.
Their obedience brought their healing, and the point is very clear that obedience is the secret pathway to restoration and blessings.
Deuteronomy 28:1 says explicitly as follows:
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.”
The question you need to ask is what instruction from the most high are you not obeying.
Get acquainted with Gods word and see the list of blessings as written in Job 22:21-29 as follows:
” Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you. [22] Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart. [23] If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents. [24] Then you will lay your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks. [25] Yes, the Almighty will be your gold And your precious silver; [26] For then you will have your delight in the Almighty, And lift up your face to God. [27] You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, And you will pay your vows. [28] You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways. [29] When they cast you down, and you say, ‘Exaltation will come!’ Then He will save the humble person.”
PONDER ON THIS POINT AND PRAY ABOUT IT.
OBEDIENCE IS THE PATHWAY TO RESTORATION.

6. Job 22:24-Father I fully embrace obedience as the ultimate source and avenue to divine gold therefore I shall not lack any good thing in Jesus’ name.
7. AT THIS JUNCTURE PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT AND FERVENTLY TOO IS IMPERATIVE.
