Topic: Other Ways To Get God Committed To You 3
Text: 2 Samuel 6:12-15.
” And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obed-edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the city of David with gladness. [13] And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings. [14] And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. [15] So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.”
Greetings of divine presence to you beloved reader and friend wherever you are connecting with us for today’s firerised feast of the word and prayers world over.
On the infallible foundation of the word of God in Psalm 16:11, which says:
” Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fullness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
We fervently pray for you that:
The presence of the Lord will multiply around you and all yours.
Your joy of salvation will be full and overflow
Your joy of all round well being will be clearly full.
Your life shall be saturated with the pleasures at the right hand of God forever in Jesus’ name.

Today and in this third in the series we are focusing on Sanctified praise as a way of attracting divine attention and commitment.
In our scriptural reference above we read about how David got God’s attention, with his praises and dances even as a King in Israel.
What David did has been misunderstood by many people who thought he simply and only danced, far from it. He offered several things simultaneously to God and they are:
A. He offered his heart first to God.(Acts 13:22)
B. He also offered Sanctified praise(Psalm 34:1)
C. Sanctified dance(Psalm 149:3)
D. He offered sacrifices of animals regularly.
E. He did all these with his might….(Ecclesiastes 9:10)
….Physical might
…Spiritual might.
….Mental might etc.
THE MAN OFFERED HIS ALL ROUND BEST TO GOD!!!
This is the stuff that attracts God and gets God committed to whoever makes such manifold sacrifices rather than mere fleshly dance.
Small wonder God responded in manifold ways His wonders to showcase in favour of David.
When you study:
Psalm 16:11..saying..
” Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
In addition to Psalm 22:3
” But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.”
Coupled with Psalm 92:1-5
” It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, And to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: [2] To shew forth thy loving kindness in the morning, And thy faithfulness every night, [3] Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; Upon the harp with a solemn sound. [4] For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. [5] O LORD, how great are thy works! And thy thoughts are very deep.”
Wrapping it up with Psalm 150:3-4
” Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: Praise him with the psaltery and harp. [4] Praise him with the timbrel and dance: Praise him with stringed instruments and organs.”
God will show you more insights about sanctified praise.
Beloved, learn and acquire the knowledge and the skills for offering sanctified praise and dance while doing so with all your MIGHT to the Almighty God.
PONDER AND PRAISE ON THIS MATTER.
1. Psalm 9:1- Father with my whole heart I will worship your majesty, for you are the king of all kings and all the Presidents of the world answer to your instructions and directions. Glory goes to you Lord in Jesus name.
2. Psalm 109:30-Father I will greatly praise you with my mouth and in the congregation of people I will showcase your glory forever in Jesus’ name.
3. Psalm 108:1- Father I am determined to praise you with everything you have mercifully endowed me with, you deserve everything I can offer Lord for you are the source of all goodness in Jesus’ name.
4. Psalm 47:1- Father I celebrate you with my clapping and the totality of the voice of my glory. I shout Glory, glory, glory Hallelujah to you Lord.AMEN.
5. Psalm 22:3- Father as I praise you let your awesome presence with all its multidimensional glory overshadow me in the wonderful name of Jesus.
6. Psalm 67:5-7-Father, as I upgrade my sanctified praise, let fear inducing blessing come upon me and my generation forever in Jesus’ name.
7. I ADVISE THAT YOU NOW BEGIN TO WORSHIP THE LORD IN THE SPIRIT FERVENTLY NOW.
