Topic: Don’t Loose Your Special Godly Nature.
Text: Matthew 5:13
” Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.”
We warmly and cheerfully welcome you to today’s edition of your firerised feast of the word coupled with revival provoking prayers, wherever you are connecting with us today as our beloved reader and friend, worldover.
Before we share a few nuggets lets us pray together from Jeremiah 29:11 which says:
” For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
The awesome thoughts of God for your life will be perfectly fulfilled.
Since nothing can stop the sun from rising, nothing is permitted to truncate the divine agenda for your life forever.
Therefore the super package of peace is yours with the accompanying glorious expected end in Jesus’ name. AMEN & AAAMEN.
God created all things to fulfill specific purposes.
He created man to live a life that will give Him pleasure by serving as the salt of the earth.
Salt is meant to serve various useful purposes a few of which will suffice here.
A. Salt is primarily used to add taste to whatever food item it is added and turn the taste around for good.
B. Salt is further used to preserve whatever it is added, as a preservative, it prevents spoilage and deterioration.
C. Salt is also variously used for dyeing and tanning in the textile industry.
D. More over it is useful in the production of chlorine and other industrial purposes too numerous to address here and even beyond the purview of this short exhortation.
But in our scriptural reference above, the word of God made it clear that:
1. Salt can become tasteless
2. And that tastelessness of the salt has a serious consequence.
3. This is the reason many believers are oppressed and depressed and trampled upon by demons.
Since believers are the salt of the earth, this shows their value, fidelity, integrity, and durability. It behoves a serious minded believer to keep away from anything that can make him loose his taste and worth in God’s reckoning.
WHAT NEUTRALIZES THE TASTE IN THE SALT.
1. Overwhelming exposure to impurities is the first cause of tastelessness of the salt.
Every believer should keep away from from defilement, contamination and pollution of any sort.
2 Timothy 2:21 says:
” If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”
Psalm 119:9
” Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word.”
2. Furthermore the salt can loose its saltiness if and when exposed to moisture. It will be watered down seriously and it’s salty nature will be lost.
Beloved your undue exposure to worldliness is a dangerous practice that can make you loose your special nature.
The word of God says corruption is not far from where there is evil communication.
1 Corinthians 15:33 puts directly this way:
” Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”
Talking about worldliness, for instance many believers don’t seem to know that, their dressing has a way of telling much about them. So called Christians who still dress and expose their bodies probably don’t know that, there are three categories of people who dress to expose their bodies in the word of God.
A. Those who are babes in faith.
B. Those who are prostitutes.
C. And those who are demon possessed
But you can escape corruption if you take heed according to the written word in 1 John 2:15-17 as follows.
” Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. [16] For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. [17] And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
PONDER SERIOUSLY ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY ZEALOUSLY ABOUT IT.
MAY YOU NOT LOOSE YOUR SALTINESS IN JESUS’ NAME.

REVIVAL PROVOKING PRAYER BULLETS.
1. Isaiah 49:2- Father thank you for specially fashioning me and designing me to add taste and value anywhere I appear. Glory forever goes to your holy name Lord in Jesus’ name.
2. Psalm 19:21- Father your original agenda for my life will not be polluted, truncated or frustrated irrespective of the number of devices against me, only the counsel of the Lord will stand in my life in Jesus’ name.
3. Psalm 35:2- Father mercifully shield and defend me against any and every arrows of pollution of the wicked in the mighty name of Jesus.
4. II Timothy 2:21- Father by the blood of the lamb I purge myself of any form of pollution and defilement in the wonder working name of Jesus.
5. Psalm 144:1- Father, by the everlasting power in the name of Jesus, I prevail over every travail and overcome every temptation in Jesus’ name.
6. Proverbs 4:18- Father of wonders make me a wonderful example of continuous shining in holiness in Jesus’ name.
7. PRAY IN THE SPIRIT RIGHT NOW SERIOUSLY IN JESUS’ NAME.
