Topic: Never Monetize Everything, Every time.
Text: Matthew 27:3-6
” Then Judas, which had ,betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, [4] saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. [5] And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. [6] And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.”
Greetings of fullness of joy to you our much loved and cherished reader and friend wherever you may be joining us for today’s edition of your firerised feast of the word and prayer world over.
Psalm 16:11 says:
” Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fullness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore”
Therefore, the wonder working presence of God will multiply around you greatly henceforth.
His presence will subdue every negative agenda of the enemy directed at you.
Your joy of salvation will not be lost or dry up
Your joy shall be full in every area of your life in Jesus’ name. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today our focus is on the abnormality of monetizing everything, every time.
To monetize something is to reduce it to monetary value, or convert it to amount of money.
God created and saved us to be in charge of the planet earth on his behalf(Revelation 5:10).
We are to carry out God’s mandate on earth and bring pleasure to Him.(Revelation 4:11)
We are therefore to be in charge of everything here with balanced perception and management of everything including money. It is therefore an error of monumental and gargantuan proportion to surrender your dominion mandate to money.
NEVER MONETIZE EVERYTHING, EVERY TIME. IT IS A TRAIT OF JUDAS.
In our scriptural reference above we read about Judas, who after betraying Jesus and witnessing the way Jesus was condemned threw away the thirty pieces of silver he was paid for betraying him and went away. BUT IT WAS TOO LATE!!!
The first question here is for how much money have you betrayed Jesus or for how much are you betraying him now? REPENT NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE THE WAY IT BECAME TOO LATE FOR JUDAS HERE IN OUR TEXT ABOVE.
Judas had made money the topmost consideration of his heart all the three and a half years that he followed Jesus.
When the woman broke the alabaster box and poured the content on Jesus he was among the loudest complainant, saying the act of worship of the woman was a waste!!!(Mark 14:3-9).
When the Pharisees were looking for who to use to betray Jesus to his enemies, Judas agreed to betray Jesus with a kiss in exchange for money.
What he forgot then is that money is very profoundly limited and there are too many things money cannot handle.
FEW LIMITATIONS OF MONEY
#1….Money cannot buy salvation of soul of man.
Many people who fail to recognize this fact have sold their souls to Satan in exchange for money. Beware, never Monetize everything, every time.
#2….Money cannot buy peace of mind and a sound sleep. Millions of people are living on sleeping drugs globally yet cannot sleep well. Because sleep is a gift of God.(Psalm 127:2).
#3…. Money cannot buy destiny fulfillment and divine satisfaction. This comes from God according to Psalm.103:5 as follows
” Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s”
#4…Money has failed in many climes in the past and is even currently failing in many others. It was Joseph that God used to rescue Pharaoh and his people when money failed in Egypt.(Genesis 47:15)
#5…Money alone cannot guarantee good health, if it were so, Naaman would not have had to go looking for the God of Israel who used Elisha to restore the man’s health.(II Kings 5:14).
As a Pastor am privileged to know that many wealthy people are elusively searching for good health even as you are reading this piece.
#6…Money cannot buy the power of God(Acts 8:20)
LEARN YOUR LESSONS FROM OTHERS
1. Gehazi was a lover of money and lost the opportunity to inherit the power of God from Elisha and ended up passing leprosy to his children!!!
2. Judas the lover of money ended up committing suicide. NEVER MAKE MONEY YOUR GOD.
3. The lover of money will NEVER BE SATISFIED with money and with anything.(Ecclesiastes 5:10)
4. Many people have separated their families, destroyed many valuable relationships because of money, only to regret later. DON’T BE A VICTIM OF THE SAME EVIL.
HOW TO USE MONEY
A. Learn to make God number one in every area of your life and He will make you His financial treasurer. (Matthew 6:33).
B. Learn to make money your servant and never your master IF YOU LOVE YOUR OWN SOUL.
Money always want you to worship it. BEWARE AND NEVER WORSHIP MAMMON.
C. Pay your tithe and generously support the work of God, giving is the antidote to greediness. Then be diligent and creatively productive and fruitful and you will prosper you in all you do.(Deuteronomy.28:8)
D. REGULARLY GIVE TO YOUR BIOLOGICAL AND SPIRITUAL PARENTS WITHOUT THEIR ASKING YOU FOR IT. This is God’s instruction and your path to greatness.
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY ABOUT IT.
1. III John 1:2- Father I worship and appreciate you because your plan for me is to prosper in every area, glory goes to you in Jesus’ name.
2. Psalm 92:12-Father as your anointing to flourish is resting upon me, I refuse to fumble in my financial responsibility to you and my parents in Jesus’ name.
3. Matthew 27:4- Father, I refuse and reject Judas mindset in my relationship with you May I never betray you because of money in Jesus’ name.
4. Luke 12:15- Father, I rise up against any form of covetousness and root out its evil root anywhere it is hiding in my life in Jesus’ name.
5. Luke 16:13- Father since no servant can serve two masters, I hold on to you Lord, I WILL NEVER SERVE MAMMON IN JESUS’ NAME.
6. Mark.4:19- Father every form of deceitfulness of riches that has not allowed the word of God to abide in me is hereby uprooted by fire in Jesus’ name.
7. LET US PRAY FERVENTLY IN THE SPIRIT NOW.
