Text: Genesis 13:14-15
” And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward”
For all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.”
Greetings of refreshing season to you our esteemed reader and friend wherever you may be connecting with us for today’s edition of your firerised feast of the word and prayer worldover.
Because it is written in Luke 1:78-79
” Through the tender mercy of our God; Whereby the day spring from on high hath visited us,
79. To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.”
We pray for you that:
God will usher you into a new day of great glory.
The wonder working power of God will lighten every area of your life.
The Lord God will deliver you from the valley of darkness in Jesus’ name. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today we are sharing briefly on Can You see The Light? The very idea of seeing connotes many things such as understanding, discernment and wisdom.
In our scriptural reference above we read about Abraham who was told by God to step out and look up to see the stars.
LESSONS FOR APPLICATION
#1….Your vision can only be clear if you separate yourself from anything or anyone whose life does not please the Lord. Until Abraham separated from Lot he could not hear God.
This makes separated life absolutely indispensable.
#2….To see is to recognize and recognition is the foundation for assimilation and finally, assimilation is followed by application. In other words, what you cannot recognize, you can scarcely maximize. 2 Kings 2:9-11 – Elijah told Elisha that if you see me when I am taken from you.
#3… To see is to understand. God asked Abram can you understand the stars?. So its a separate thing to merely see something, and another to understand it. In this new month of abundant grace, you need to understand the nature of stars, as sparsely outlined below:
– Stars shine;
– Stars attract attention;
– Stars are strategically positioned in a class by themselves;
– Stars represent the future; and
– Stars represent possibilities.
These are the things God was asking Abram to comprehend.
Beloved Reader, in this new month of November, you must learn to identify stars, see the future with clarity and understand its complexities. The unsearchable understanding of the Most high God will be made available for your benefit in Jesus name.
In this new month, see with the eye of faith, see the future in the light of the scriptures, apply the scriptures to obtain the promises of the future. ENOUGH THEY SAY, IS SUFFICIENT FOR THE WISE.
