Topic: Antidote to The Activities of Spirit of Pharaoh.
Text: Exodus 14:5-6,8-13 KJV
And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us? [6] And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:
And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.
[8] And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand. [9] But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pi–hahiroth, before Baal–zephon. [10] And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD. [11] And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? [12] Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. [13] And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.”

Because it is written, in Psalm 105:42-43, that
” For he remembered his holy promise, And Abraham his servant. [43] And he brought forth his people with joy, And his chosen with gladness:”
God will remember His promise and deliver you
The covenant keep God will deliver joy provoking breakthrough to you and all yours.
Your joy will multiply and sorrow is permanently terminated from you in Jesus’ name. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today, we are focusing on Antidotes to the activities of the spirit of Pharaoh.
For highly discerning individuals, as the year is rounding off, the activities of the spirit of Pharaoh becomes more pronounced and very ruthless.
What is the spirit of Pharaoh?
The spirit of Pharaoh can be dissected from many perspectives, lets just make.a list and take one for our focus today.
1. It is the spirit of distraction and deception
2. It is the spirit of slavery
3. It is the spirit of pursue and intimidation.
Many people are born again but it is embarrassing to note that for various reasons such as:
A. Spiritual carelessness.
B. Prayerlessness.
C. Spiritual blindness and lack of discernment, etc.
They are perpetually being pursued, intimidated and harrassed as we see it in Acts 12:1.
But we are focusing on the spirit of Pharaoh as the spirit of pursue and intimidation with intent to keep the victim in the slave camp perpetually.
When God commissioned Moses it was with the mandate to liberate Israel from slavery, but the enemy would not let them go, programmed to showcase God’s power and glory.
In Exodus 12:37 the people of Israel left Egypt at night and God went ahead of them like the pillar of fire and came behind them as the pillar of cloud. Yet the enemy felt he must pursue them!!!!
THE AUDACITY OF PHARAOH.
The closer the Israelites get to their destination the closer the enemy pursuing them!!!!
Does that sound like end of year intensive crisis?
It got to a point when they got to the bank of the red sea and just ahead of them was water and behind them was Pharaoh and his hosts the children of Israel were frightened and spoke against Moses, that was when Moses made the statement in Exodus 14:13-14 to the effect that:
#1….They should stand still
#2….And behold the salvation of the Lord.
#3….The Egyptians they have seen before then they will see no more.
#4….God will fight for them and they will hold their peace.
God later interneved and drowned the Egyptians right before the eyes of the Israelites.
ANTIDOTES TO THE INTIMIDATION OF THE PURSUER.
1. Cry to God like the Israelites whose cry came to Gods hearing.(Exodus 3:7)
” And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;”
2. Don’t stand still rather keep moving forward and making progress in the right direction. A moving target is usually very difficult for the enemy to tie down or target effectively.(I Kings 18:46)
3. Activate the power in the blood of Jesus to the fullest because it is guaranteed to speak better things for a better ending for a reader of this word.(Hebrews 12:24)
4. Finally, don’t be afraid, because it does not matter how near the enemy, God is nearer, mightier and greater than the source of your fear.(Isaiah 41:13).
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND RISE UP TO CONFRONT YOUR PURSUER.
