” I have a baptism with which to be baptized, and how greatly and sorely I am urged on (impelled, constrained) until it is accomplished!”
Greetings of divine settlement to you our esteemed reader and friend wherever you are joining us for today’s edition of your firerised feast of the word and prayers worldover.
In Exodus 12:36 the word of God says:
” and the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.”
In the same order, God given favour is yours now
Even from unexpected source, receive favour
In an unexpected magnitude, you are favoured
Whatever you desire this day and this working week, is delivered to you and even much more in Jesus’ name. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today our focus is on Beware of the trap of the path of least resistance. A wise man once said that, it is friction that makes motion fascinating and fulfilling.
In our scriptural reference above, Jesus told the disciples and other people listening to him that:
#1…He had a mandate from heaven
#2…He must be baptised into it
#3….And that he must be stretched and pressured to get it done.
The saviour of humanity recognised that he must pay the price to lay hold on the prize.
The tendency to always look out for the path of least resistance is a trap of some sort that is often adopted and adapted by the devil to short change many people and derail their destiny.
Imagine what would have happened to humanity if Jesus who had fasted for forty days and forty nights agreed with Satan and turned stones to bread?
This day and this week, beloved reader you will not fall into the trap of the devil in Jesus’ name.
May I remind you that, your eagerness to pay the price is a pointer to your readiness for greatness.
When David got to the battle field in the battle of Israel against the Philistines represented by Goliath;
#1….He.asked for the permission to confront the giant.
#2…When the giant came out against him, and spoke with curses against David in the name of his god, David responded in the name of the Lord.
#3…Even before the giant will physically move against David, the shepherd boy ran towards the giant ready for action against him.
#4…In a short few minutes the giant was on the floor dead, as David prevailed over him.
THIS DAY AND WORKING WEEK
A. Live ready to ignore path of least resistance, because the enemy may be targetting your purpose with the aim to derail it.
B. Sharpen your skills and go to work while at work. HAVEN’T YOU HEARD OF PEOPLE WHO WENT TO WORK AND REFUSED TO WORK?
C. Run towards challenges rather running away from problems.
D. Attack problems head on and with single minded intention to prevail.
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY ABOUT IT.
