Text: Matthew 17:1-8
” AND SIX days after this, Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. [2] And His appearance underwent a change in their presence; and His face shone clear and bright like the sun, and His clothing became as white as light. [3] And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, who kept talking with Him. [4] Then Peter began to speak and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good and delightful that we are here; if You approve, I will put up three booths here–one for You and one for Moses and one for Elijah. [5] While he was still speaking, behold, a shining cloud [composed of light] overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, This is My Son, My Beloved, with Whom I am [and have always been] delighted. Listen to Him! [Ps. 2:7; Isa. 42:1.] [6] When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were seized with alarm and struck with fear. [7] But Jesus came and touched them and said, Get up, and do not be afraid. [8] And when they raised their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.”
Greetings of open heavens to you our esteemed reader and friend wherever you are connecting with us for today’s edition of your firerised feast of the word and prayers worldover.
According to Ezekiel 34:26 (AMPC) which says:
” And I will make them and the places round about My hill a blessing, and I will cause the showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing [of good insured by God’s favor].”
We declare concerning somebody reading this:
That your life will not repel Gods blessings
Rather heaven is opened to you and all yours
With the attendant soaking showers of all round self advertising blessings in Jesus’ name. AMEN & AAAMEN.
Today we are focusing on the third part of awake
who sleep. The word of life in Luke 18:1 (AMPC) says:
” ALSO [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).”
In this very verse we discovered that praying is another antidote to spiritual sleep which is referred to here as fainting. AWAKE THEREFORE TO PREVAILING PRAYERS.
In our scriptural reference above, we read, that:
#1…Jesus went to the top of the mount to pray
#2…With three of his disciples..and..
#3…Some things happened including some of the following.
….Jesus prayed and transfigured before them
…..Some old testament saints came calling even during prayer meeting.
…..The disciples’ lives were also transformed
…..Their spiritual ears were opened to hear God
….Their eyes were opened to see transformed Jesus and the saints of old(Isaiah & Elijah)
….Their ambition changed as verbalised by Peter
THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF A PREVAILING PRAYER.
A prevailing prayer is predicated on what Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:10 as follows:
” Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
AWAKE IN PREVAILING PRAYERS TODAY. God is tired of prayers:
….That are self seeking and materialistic only
….That relegate God’s plan and agenda to the second position.
….That empowers mammon and strengthens the hold of the kingdom of darkness on the planet earth.
…That gives credence to the works of the flesh, the devil and accords demons more time and space to dominate people’s lives.
Have you read I Kings 3:10-11 as follows:
” It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this. [11] God said to him, Because you have asked this and have not asked for long life or for riches, nor for the lives of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to recognize what is just and right”
Did you see the type of prayers God had been inundated with all these years humanity has been praying?
Solomon’s God pleasing prayer is another example of Kingdom expanding and God glorifying prayers.
Therefore we counsel you that you:
*****Awake in Kingdom expanding prayers
****Spread the message of Kingdom expanding prayers everywhere.
****Whatever moved God to create man, send His only begotten son to the world to die must move us.
****This type of prevailing prayer is the shortest route to pleasing God.
****It is the cheapest way to receive MUCH MORE THAN YOUR REQUESTS.
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND AWAKE NOW TO KINGDOM EXPANDING PRAYERS.
Let us pray.

7. Luke 10:19-O Lord God, I decree every power disturbing and hindering the gospel and the expansion of Gods Kingdom in my area of operation be fished out and finished by fire in Jesus’ name.
8. Exodus 5:9-Father let every structure and infrastructure of bondage holding the people in my neighbourhood, town state and country down in sin and slavery be vandalised and totally destroyed by fire in Jesus’ name.
9. Exodus 14:20-22-Father let the red sea of sin, sickness and satanism on the way of the people of my neighbourhood, town state and country be dismantled by force by fire now, let be people be delivered from sinfulness and be saved in Jesus’ name.
