Topic: Ultimate attraction of divine blessings
Text: Exodus 35:1, James 1:21-25
” And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.”
” Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the en-grafted word, which is able to save your souls. [22] But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. [23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: [24] for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. [25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”
Greetings of utmost consistency to you dear reader and friend wherever you are joining us for today’s edition of your fire loaded word and prayer worldover.
In the light of II Kings 13:18 which is written as follows:
” And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed.”
We fervently pray for you that:
The power to consistently make progress in the right direction is yours now.
You are insured against any form of failure too
You will not faint and you will not fall.
You will not disappoint God in the wonder working name of Jesus. AMEN & AAAMEN.
We are looking briefly at the issue of ultimate attraction of divine blessings.
Our God is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, He rules by commands and decrees.
To effectively attract God’s attention doing what you have been told or obeying God is your shortest route to divine attraction and all the attendant blessings.
Our first scriptural reference tells us about what Israel should DO. Beloved doing is superior to mere knowing and it is the greatest attraction of God’s marvelous presence and blessings.
In our second scriptural reference we gleaned a few points on this doing issue.
We discovered that before any man can do the word, the word must first be fully established and grounded in such a fellow.
From Amplified version we discovered that some moral filthiness and wickedness are responsible for the inability of the word of God to abide in a man. Read it below in James 1:21
” So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls.”
Therefore wage war against such deposit hindering the word from being grounded in you.
It is after this is done that doing the word becomes easy for you and the attendant blessings is allowed to flow into your life.
This is the reason why many people’s prayers are not answered. May God have mercy today in Jesus’ name.
Just imagine the word of God says the man who does the word of God shall be blessed in all his deeds.(James 1:25)
In order to fully comprehend this our great God made a short list of specific areas of life where the blessings will fully manifest.
Take a look at Deuteronomy 28:1-13, take time to study verse one which is the foundation of all other blessings listed therein.
Deuteronomy 28:1 says:
” And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:”
Listed after this verse one are twelve verses of mega blessings of close to twenty varieties and types. These blessings are all encompassing and comprehensive.
The attraction is the kernel of the matter and I counsel you to take heed to yourself and to this issue of doing God’s word so that you will attract and retain God’s presence and blessings with or sometimes even without prayers!!!
PONDER ON THIS MATTER AND PRAY ABOUT IT.

1. Psalm 92:1-Thank you Lord for reminding me the centrality of being a doer rather than a mere hearer. Thanks a lot Lord in Jesus’ name.
2. Jeremiah 17:9-10- Father search my heart and uproot every desperate wickedness out of it in Jesus’ name
3. Psalm 12:6- Father Lord by your pure word mercifully purify every aspect of my spirit soul and body in the mighty name of Jesus.
